Greetings Dear Ones ...
Today's Positive Affirmation is inspired by a blog post of a friend of mine who writes ... "Leave the past behind. It can no longer be lived. Look to the future with hope, there is always a gift someone will give. Live in the present, it is just that; a present. Live with integrity." These words so struck me that I took them into a deep contemplation. What I came back with is that there is no past, there is no future. There is only the Now, this moment. And once this moment is past, we no longer live in it's energy; instead, we live to create 'this' moment, 'this' Now, which is fresh and new.
What makes 'this' Now the most important Now in our lives is ... Integrity. Every moment is our opportunity to live in integrity.
I looked up the literal meaning of 'integrity' ~~ I knew what it meant to me, but wanted a broad range definition. Integrity is defined as completeness, soundness, honesty and moral fiber. It is freedom from corrupting influence. It is doing the right thing for the right reason.
Today's Positive Affirmation is about two things -- Being present in the Now and doing so with integrity. Please read it over, and when you are ready to give it a whirl, take a few deep, cleansing breaths, then repeat today's Positive Affirmation three times, in sets of threes (meaning .. you will repeat this affirmation a total of nine times daily). The number 'three' has a special meaning to your Higher Self; it is a sacred number, and the number nine stands for completion. This is why I always suggest that we repeat your affirmations three times, in sets of threes, or .. nine times!
"I am completely focused in the Now. I live in THIS moment, every moment of my life. In this Now, I choose right action. I choose to do the right thing for the right reason because I and I alone, am responsible for my actions."
Our yesterdays are gone; they are now the fond memories of experiences we've shared. The future never arrives because, every conscious moment is our Now. Therefore, live in the Now, in the present. Don't live for your tomorrows, or you will miss your today! This isn't saying that we should not plan for the future, or should not have hope for our tomorrows ~~ but it is saying that if we dwell on what is to come, we will never see it. We will manifest the experience of anticipating what comes next, and miss out on our present.
To borrow a thought from my friend, Michelle ... "Live in the present ..... live with integrity." Couldn't have worded it any better !
