FRIDAY'S POSITIVE AFFIRMATION: Tap Away Hurts Positivity Treatment
 

Greetings Dear Ones ...

 

The Emotional Freedom Technique  (EFT) is a remarkable method of dealing with fears, hurts, pains, and negativity. And it is so very easy and simple to do.  Besides being easy to do, it works !  For today's positive affirmation, we will use the first technique, which is the 'sore spot rub' technique to help remove our attachment to a specific problem. 

 

After you work with today's positive affirmation and see positive results, please 'google' EFT to discover more about this wonderful technique to heal and remove painful obstacles that hinder forward growth and movement.

 

Here is the positivity treatment, which consists of a positive affirmation and the physical technique.

 

With your index finger, locate the softspot under your chin, below your 'Adam's Apple' and above your chest -- the hollow of your throat.  You can feel this point, it is shaped like a small "U" above your breastbone.  Move your finger down approximately 2 - 3 inches, then either left or right 2 - 3 inches.  With your finger, feel around for your 'sore spot'.  This 'sore spot' is attached to your lymphatic system and is considered an 'accupressure' point.  What you are going to do is gently rub this sore spot, enough so you can feel it, but not enough to hurt yourself, while you repeat the below affirmation:

 

"Even though I have (problem - a fear of heights, anger at mate, a habit of smoking, etc.), I totally, completely and deeply accept myself. "

 

Repeat this action and affirmation for three minutes, then stop, and go about your day to day business.  You may not notice right away, but the next time you are confronted with the fear, hurt or person, your may feel less and less stressed toward them/it.  Use this technique before you enter into a place where you may be in the position to confront your problem, a convenience store that sells cigarettes if you are a quitter, or your front door if you are having problems with your mate.  Repeat the affirmation firmly and with conviction while rubbing your 'sore spot' and do so for three minutes to gird yourself against a negative confrontation.

 

I have found that this technique by itself has helped me and I know it will help you as well.  EFT is a wonderful technique to remove fears, hurts and negative experiences from our past painlessly, without revisiting the past.  No; rather what it does is help you to refocus your emotions by physically clearning out the old fears and habits that no longer serve us. You can have control; we can have control.  This positivity treatment will certainly help you on your way !
