FRIDAY'S POSITIVE AFFIRMATION: Tenet No. One -- Caring

Greetings Dear Ones ...
We rarely realize how important it is to treat others the way we wish to be treated until we have an experience where kindness would be very welcomed. Life is like that ~ it will give us the experiences we need to open our eyes to the plight of others. Our world is filled with difficult times. Typhoons in the Philippines, earthquakes, flooding and tsunamis in American Samoa reaching toward Hawaii ~~ natural disasters where people get displaced, injured and some even lose their lives. Because it is far removed from us does not take away the pain and anguish that is being felt by those who are living it. Closer to home in the United States is the severe flooding in Georgia and Kansas. The American Red Cross and FEMA have been activated to offer assistance.
The First Tenet for Spiritual Living of The Ministry of Common Sense Spirituality, the church in which I am a participating minister, is ... "Care for others as much as you want to be cared for," which tells us simply to treat others the way we want to be treated. Today's Positive Affirmation will establish and affirm this Tenet in your Higher Self and in your heart:
"I care for others as much as I care for myself. I recognize the spark of the Divine in everyone - no matter the color of their hair, eyes or skin, no matter their religion, race or creed. I love others as much as I love myself and I do so in service of the good of the whole. And ... So It Is."
Repeat your affirmations daily and always in sets of threes. Please keep your Planet-mates in your thoughts and prayers at this time of need when lives are in upheaval in pockets around the globe. Bless Mother Earth and know that as we give, so truly shall we receive.
With warmest blessings in Love, Light and Sound always
