SUNDAY SERMON: Are We Alone ?
Today's sermon deals with intelligent life. With the way of the world today, I know some of you might query if indeed intelligent life inhabits Planet Earth at all! Wars, terrorism, drug pandemic, AIDS, UFO encounters, hollow earth inhabitants, conspiracy theories on top of conspiracy theories. Phew!
But, intelligence abounds here on Planet Earth in many different forms - our own and that of .. others!
Every thing on this planet is a form of intelligence. Flowers, plants, trees, rocks, minerals, metals, birds, bees, animals, fish, humans ... we are all a form of intelligence and have different ways of using, presenting and sharing our intelligence.
You might say .. "Now, Dolphyn ... rocks can't think. And, even if they could, what would they think about?" ~smile~ To have intelligence doesn't necessarily mean processing thought. We humans have a brain and the electrical impulses that make us move, eat, digest, feel... and think. Plants, too, have electrical impulses, as does water, and yes ... rocks!
It is that energy that is the basis of their intelligence. Energy surrounds and affects us continually. We often pick up the energy of rocks or shells or plants.
When we stoop to pick up a rock or a sea shell ... have you ever wondered why? Could it be that the rock or shell telepathically asked us to pick it up, sent us its energy for a nano-second that we 'heard' and followed through? I believe this is probable, rather than possible.
Intelligent life beyond the scope of our Earth? Yes .. indeed.
It would be mankind, in its effort to convince itself that it is the top of the food chain, to believe that it is singular in its intelligence, and that beyond what we can readily see - there is nothing.
I foster the belief that beyond the Universe as we know it, lies another Universe and another Universe ad infitum, and that within each Universe is a cluster of intelligent life forms in many shapes and forms. Think "Babylon 5" and "Star Trek!"
Yes ... Babylon 5 and Star Trek, who'se writers and creators traveled during dream state to the Causal Plane, the plane of creativity and discovery, and returned with much of the presentations of different gallactic life forms. What a concept. And ... probable, I dare say ;)
Are we alone? Though man would like to think so, it is not the only intelligent life form in existence -- here on Earth School and beyond. The Divine True Source, in It's infinite wisdom, has created a multitude of life forms, Trekkian or not, in Its own likeness -- we are but a small seed of it all. Of course, in my humble opinion.
