Skimming the Psychic Edge
You've probably heard this statement in one form or another .... "Everybody is psychic." And to some degree, yes, indeed, this is true. But .. what is it that comprises the difference from 'being psychic' and merely 'having hunches' and .. is there really a difference?
I call this ... 'skimming the psychic edge' and we all do it. We have hunches that something is about to happen, or the phone will ring and we'll think to ourselves .. "oh, its my sister" and ... pick up the phone to hear our sister's voice on the other end.
That's right .. "skimming the psychic edge" ... skimming .. because some of us just don't want to believe that it is really possible to KNOW when something is about to happen ... its just not right ... Still, they can't refute their own experiences.
Yet, other folks might welcome the hunches that turn out to be true and seek to develop their psychic talents, using these talents to help others gain a better understanding of their lives and life situations. Many of these folks gravitate to sites such as Keen or Ether to meet up with like minded individuals.
What does this tell you ? Well .. it tells me that more and more individuals are believing in their own psychic power and the abilities of others to hone and develop their psychic power for the good of the whole. Understanding intuition, empathic feelings, precognitive dreaming and essence, telepathic messages, and so on, comes naturally to some, yet takes time to develop and practice.
If you are 'skimming the psychic edge' ... and are interested in taking the plunge - go for it ! There are numerous ways to expand your 'hunches' and improve your abilities to zero in on spiritually empathic feelings. There are tools available to help you kick start your psychic abilities, such as tarot cards, pendulums, dowsing rods, runes, I-Ching; or, google for one of many of the colleges and universities that offer actual degreed classes in the metaphysical arts, which will help you develop your abilities from the ground up.
Just remember, that no matter how far along the path you are, there is someone always ahead of you to help pull you along. Don't be afraid to ask for assistance .... from another psychically inclined person or your inner guides. Developing your abilities may help you live a richer and most full life.
