TRIP UPDATE: Paranormal Experiences Pt. 1
Hello Everyone .. this will be first of a series of blog posts in regard to paranormal experiences over the past week beginning at Astoria's home and continuing on to Gilliland's Ranch, Mount St. Helen's, and Mt. Rainier.
I arrived in Portland on July 4th. The first leg of the plane trip appeared to be uneventful; however, the second leg I was seated next to a couple from Florida who used to live in the Portland area. Here was my first paranormal experience. It was kismet to be traveling to Portland and to sit next to two people from my area who used to live there. I became privvy to some interesting places and things about the area, thanks to my two seat-mates.
The first night at Astoria's home, we familiarized ourselves with our investigative equipment. Using the digital voice recorder, we captured three electronic voice projections (EVP's) which in retrospect were validations of training. Yes, even we psychically aware folks receive training - every single day! Here is what we heard:
EVP 1: As we were looking over the digital voice recorded, we were inviting positive energy forces into our atmosphere, explained our intent. that we didn't mean to intrude, but that we were open channels and if there were any beings who wished to communicate, we would listen. What we heard was ... "Cool." We took this as a validation that we had connected with a being who was attempting to put us at ease by speaking to us in 'our' language!
EVP 2: We continued to look over the equipment, making sure we had all that we needed and our conversation was excited and light. We heard the voice explain its nature: "I'm talking through Nick now."
I say it explained its nature because we felt that this entity was from a higher realm and had to use an astral body to project a voice which we could hear instead of communicating telepathically. The astral body it used was "Nick." We are indebted to "Nick" for allowing our guide to speak with us, particularly since we had purchased the digital voice recorder !
EVP 3: While we were trying to figure out how to set the digital thermometer from centigrade to farenheit reading, Astoria said, "I don't know how to do that." Our guide responded immediately: "But you KNOW how to do this ...."
That message carried us through the rest of the week. When we were faced with obstacles, we would look at eachother and say ... "You KNOW how to do this!" And .. we do.
I will upload these EVPs for you to hear with your own ears. I am using my laptop right now and may not be able to retrieve them while away from home. ... ... but ... I guess .. I KNOW how to do this! I'll keep trying :)
Next, I'll report some of the synchronicities which occurred despite obstatcles placed in our path.
