WORLDWIDE PEACE VIGIL 12/21/08
Last year marked the first initiative of the Worldwide Peace Vigil to heal Mother Earth from the scars of negativty that continue to hold Her in its grasp. Today, on the date of Winter Solstice, we are once again offered with the opportunity from our Star Friends to participate in a Worldwide Peace Vigil.
To participate, you are asked to light a candle outside in an area where it's light will be visible to the heavens. Last year, many folks lit candles in their gardens, in window boxes, and in planters. Some chose to place candles in lumenarias and fashioned them in a heart shape, while others simply placed protected candles outside in the open. How you choose to participate, if at all, is a personal thing .. the idea is to light a candle with love in your heart to promote healing our beautiful planet.
Place your pure intent on healing Mother Earth from the wounds of war, terriorism, bigotry and hatred. The best way to negate negativity is to meet it head on with a heart filled with love for all people, all creeds, all races and all beings. Send your personal message out to the Heavens with your wish for Earth to be healed from the pains of hatred; our Star Friends will be watching! What better way to send the message that we come from a place of love and not fear!
