Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

Are my eyes deceiving me or.......

Am I seeing the same posts re-posted over and over and over? Not only re-posted several times but repeatedly all day? What's the purpose of that? What is anyone hoping to achieve with that? I love to look at the blogs and read to learn but it's slightly annoying when it's the same thing many times on the SAME day??

Or is it just me?

nope, you're not seeing things.

i don't know why they're doing it but i'm fairly sure it's intentional.

sorry about any typos, i'm typing 1 handed right now with the boy facinated by the computer screen. :)

It's very tedious, and quite rude really. I also object to the "I'm off to the potty" type posts, but I guess there's not much we can do about it, sigh

It's a shame, because it diminishes the efforts of people like yourself who put effort and thought into their blogs.

Well...I hesitate a little to jump in on this Joan but it is a little daunting to me also.  I think it might be a tactic to generate more business and I am all for that but I really think it shows what your made of when you are rude and push others off the page like a cuckoo bird does in the nest!  Just my two cents here and I know that others have a right to their opinions and I honor that but we should at least have some consideration for others I think.   I try to only post once a day but I do vary the times I post.  I don't republish over and over throughout the day.  I guess it depends on the person and how much they need the exposure also. Thanks for sharing with us.

I have seen the same articles re-posted over a period of time and have not had a problem as it was something interesting that was good to read again, however what I was questioning was what these readers who are posting the same thing several times in the one day, while blocking comments to the blogs, are hoping to achieve by that? And I agree that all have a right to their opinion but I don't think they have the right to ram it down our throats over and over and hog the blogs repeatedly all day, just my two cents.

I agree with all of you.  This is becoming redundant.  I am so sick of seeing how we can pay $49.99 to get our lover back, lose weight, or remove a curse.

I also read these blogs daily, and learn a great deal from them.  But this last week I have grown increasingly bored with those repeated posts.  Wonder if Keen would do anything about this?

I wrote Playfair a long time ago about this, and I didn't get any response. If you are posting many blogs a day, then each blog should be unique and non repetitious. I think it's a selfish way of gaining exposure. I also don't understand when in our policy we are not meant to be selling spells, but the weightloss, bring lover back spells blogs are getting loads of exposure. It looks trashy and low class and lowers the overall standards of the blogs and Keen.
On the other hand, I am happy that Keen is putting more effort into marketing their blogs lately, but I think there should be better guidelines....thanks for bringing this up again...!

I also received a pay to view in the mail for $200 to bring my lover back? Aside from the fact that I am in a stable relationship and am engaged, I do not KNOW this reader, and I do not believe in spells. I emailed the reader in question back and asked to be removed from the mailing list and told her that as an honest ethical reader I objected to her email soliciting business.

The days of internet, instant access and instant messages, email, text messages have created a atmosphere where people are very reactive to anything that is perceived as against them when it might not be the case.

OMG...$200.00 to bring a lover back?...what?...from the DEAD?

Wow!  I think comments are blocked in case of bad feedback.  (There was a comment on one of those earlier ads (err...blogs) and it wasn't from a satisfied customer.)

I also pay to advertise my blog--it actually gives ALL of us exposure.  And it harm none...

God bless you for caring so much about others.

I still see it taking place today, over and over the SAME post, most with no edits, I have no objection to re-posting but too many times, on the same day is JUST ANNOYING to me,

It would appear that some bloggers will do anything to get their posts noticed, re-noticed, not to mention RE-NOTICED, even if they have been placed on the first page of repeatedly. There are some great bloggers, some who give us insight, change our perspective and those are welcomed even re-posted, but some who are just posting the same thing over and over is just plain annoying.

Blogging is an incredible tool that can be used for spritual growth, insight into many aspects of any issue so that we can share, learn and grow. Perhaps the bar for bloggers has been raised ? In some ways that is good and maybe in some ways that is not so good. Maybe we expect too much from these blogs? Maybe we are becoming lazy so that we sit back and expect to be entertained much like the writers of these blogs are professional writers and one slip up and everyone pounces?
Who knows, it's all a learning and growing process for all of us, sometimes the weakness we point out in others are the things we need to change ourselves and we are blissfully unaware of that. I for one still do not know why the same posts repeatedly posted bugs me so much?

It appears that the same bloggers are happily putting the same blogs in our space over and over with little regard for anyone else.
