Beware of........
emails bearing gifts of millions from people you do not know. If you think about it, no one you do not know is going to give you money for no reason. Why on earth would they? I have gotten those emails from the U.K., Nigeria, even Russia....
Beware of letters offering credit cards, be sure to rip them up, you never know who is looking to steal your identity in order to make you responsible for purchases they make.
Beware of offers both email and snail mail of free gift cards, where you have to sign up for things, and know that IF you do fall for them, you get spammed and never get your gift card.
Beware of mortgages, know that if you sign up for a mortgage that is interest only, has a low rate that may change to something that is unreasonable, so before you sign something have someone trustworthy review it and know your rights and responsibility BEFORE you give your John Hancock on that document....
In today's society people seem to be looking for ways to part you with your money not to mention your identity.
There used to be a saying that a fool and his money are soon parted but these days you can be a highly intelligent, savvy individual and you can be easily parted from their money unless you are ever vigilant.
Wishing all of you safe identity, and all of your money for YOUR use only :-)
