How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

I don't mind a lot of things generally but.....

I DO mind when a reader emails me telling me her availability and I email her asking politely to remove me from her mailing list, and yet two weeks later, I get another email from  that same reader?

Or when I get unsolicited emails selling me spells that I do not want from a reader I have NEVER called .....

What are YOUR views on those kinds of things?

Some people click on the buy now button not realizing it automatically puts an email in their inbox. Could this be what happened? I know several people have clicked mine and accused me of spamming them.

I make no accusations, I am merely saying that I find solicitation emails annoying, and when I have asked a reader to remove me from their mailing list and I still get mail from them? That REALLY annoys me

Dear Joan:

I am amazed at how much junk I have to wade through in the mailbox from Advisors I have never called or emailed before.  I try to be nice and request that they remove me from their solicitation emails and sometimes they are nice and do so but some have auto responders now that tell you "sorry not checking my mail right now" and boom the next day there is another email asking you to call them the next day.  That makes me a little hot under the collar especially when I do not solicit anyone by email.

If they don't stop sending the emails, Keen has provided us with this really unique button labeled - BLOCK.  I employ it when my request is ignored.

I don't get the need to announce availibility -I can see where it would tick off more people than it attracts.

Yes, I know but blocking seems so rude and final if that makes sense, but I have used it and will continue to do so,

Does blocking people prevent them from responding to your blogs?

No. blocking does not keep people from responding to your blogs. You can delete offensive comments, and report offensive comments.
