Isn't it funny when we all speak the same language...........
I saw an article about a woman who was on a SkyWest flight ( I presume from Australia to Pittsburgh) and when she requested some pretzels and was told there were no more to be had.... she responded *Fair Dinkum* and she was reprimanded by the crew for swearing......
I guess those airline employees missed Crocodile Dundee???
She was met when she got off the flight by three uniformed police officers and detained and questioned.... when the misunderstanding was sorted out she was allowed to go....
Is it just me or has this kind of over-reacting to ANY kind of what is now considered unacceptable behavior gone too far? Is using foul language directed at an airline employee considered that serious? RUDE, YES!! but were three police officers necessary? Now obviously there is no need to use bad language towards anyone but is it a serious enough offense to have the woman detained? Or did we not get the whole story....?
