Making progress to heal old wounds...

Australia is about to issue an apology to the native population of Australia the aborigines. An apology is to acknowledge wrongdoing and validates the people whose land was taken and are still struggling to survive alongside the people who settled Australia. There are many situations all over the world that could well do with an apology, you never know it could go a long way to heal long standing rifts between populations.
The Irish got an apology for the famine in 1997 from Tony Blair, which will not bring back the people that died or emigrated but it certainly says the British admitted handling the situation wrongly and goes some of the way to heal relationships which have never been the warmest but have come a long way....
Two down, how many more to go? Who's next?
