haha don't they realize that we'll find out sooner or later, who the person is? If they really dig us, they'd have the courage to say something.

I know but the readers sending the emails....REALLY bothers me.....it's an ABUSE of power because when WE are in crisis...WE may fall for that kind of stuff....which is NOT right...

I don't even open up the email. I'm afraid it might be a virus.  LOL.  Maybe I wouldn't want to hear from the person looking for me anyway. I could have 'weeded' my garden so to speak.

Joan, that was an excellent post and I agree with you 110%.

To be a bit of a geek and continue the 'weeding the garden' analogy, it's a shame that we couldn't make a permanent solution to the weeds with out damaging the flowers.

E-mail scams, phone scams, and the countless amount of spam of the non-food variety is enough sometimes I just want to be a hermit. Then I realize that they'd eventually find me and that the cost of giving up my relationships to hide from the harassment is too high anyways.

It's really frustrating and I wish that people chose to be more respectful then to flood everybody and their cousin with these kinds of junk offers and scams. :(

So, in a nut shell, great post and you're preaching to the choir over here. :)

Oh, I'm sorry. In regards to weeding my garden I was referring to my ex-hubby. LOL.  We both have blossomed into our own beauty, just not together or with each other. But it's all good. Besides some weeds are actually good for gardens and can attract beneficial things to it.

I know what you mean.For the past few weeks I keep getting the same mail from some online site over and over and over telling me some ex has been searching for me..and I keep deleting and deleting the email.
Unfortunately some others new to the internet or a younger person that may realize it's just a ploy to get you to join their site will go and do so.
Not a fan of that and glad you brought it up here.
