Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

The Art of Fair Competition..........
I have often wondered IF competition brings out the best or the worst in people. Should it be encouraged or discouraged? The beginning of softball season is upon us and I see parents who behave perfectly in most other areas of their everyday life and once their children are on the field, act like jerks, yelling at their child while they are playing and yelling at others who are playing against them....And while coaches have made every attempt to stop this kind of thing it still occurs with regularity....And I know this can have a negative effect on their own children and others who may not want to play anymore because of it. And I address it when I see it to the coach. That kind of behavior discourages kids and we do not to do that. While we must encourage competitiveness, I am not sure it should be come to in a manner that negates the positive in competition. As in, it is not the most important thing to win, it is important to compete as there can be only ONE winner...that is not the case with readings, there can be many winners....
And speaking of competition does it bring out the best or the worst in you as a reader when confronted by the phrase *That's NOT what my other readers told me* ? My usual response to that trite phrase is * I cannot speak for them, they told you what they got and I am telling you what I got* as it is not for me to say who is right or wrong..Perhaps we should not resort to negativity on any level with others as that only creates more in my humble opinion.....
Hearing what others have offered in their readings to the caller does not create competitiveness in me as I know I will not always be right, do things the right way, dot my i's and cross my t's,  give the best reading they ever got but I know that it is my intention to do so...
Wishing you the best of readings always, tools or no tools.. it is you who has the power to choose who you call, spend your money on as there are SO many talented readers on keen who are ready and waiting to share their GIFT with you... :-)
