Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

The Half Hour Holies......
I find that many people do their duty every Sunday....sitting up in the front of the church...
Being seen in the right place...........being seen to do the right thing........and yet....
they walk out that door at the end of the sermon and talk about their neighbor....and or behave in a most un-christian manner towards everyone....
Being christian is more than the half hour in the church, is more than being seen to do the right thing, it is about how you live....on a daily basis, there is none of us perfect, but some of us do not worry about how we are seen by others, or do things so that we can be noticed doing, we try to do the right thing whether it is seen or not....
This is more important than your half hour duty each week...
Do you want to be seen to be christian or are you really christian?
Which kind of christian are you? The half hour holy? Or the real deal?

Amen to all the above Joan!  I think the biggest hypocrites I have ever met in my life were those that professed to be righteous and religious.  Those who cast stones at those who do not believe like they do, or who do not worship like they do is neither holy nor spiritual.  I believe that the world is changing however and the time is coming where we all will see the benefit of living like Christ did and caring for each other in our hearts.

It's more important to live a christian life than show you are by attending for the half hour weekly...
