From what i have learned from others on here as well as myself. Some customers/clients are new to keen.com or haven't found the blog section yet. Some, like myself are just too lazy to read an entire blog from years ago to find information. So the front page is the easiest for me. Also if the universe has chosen to nudge someone to re-post info, i take heed that this is the direction i am to go in.

As with the changing of the seasons, the constellations in the skies, even the Holy Bible, there are themes or ideals are repeated through time.

Some of the messages out there need to be repeated. Some,(i will have to agree with you) do not.

Yes, some of the blogs do need to be repeated, and some do not need to be repeated several times a day, they say the same thing over and over and no amount of nudging should push the same thing in our faces over and over or onto the first page....in my humble. I welcome some blogs...I love them, I learn from them, I welcome them...

Agreed, Joan. All things in BALANCE...and POSITIVE, HEALING ENERGY is what we should be spreading. Not fear, dislike, or suspicion. It goes against the grain, angainst the whole concept of Keen. (I still say this is a place for GOOD to be done :)

omg there is so much good that does take place on here and I am so grateful for the wonderful callers who place their trust in me when they call me. I have learned from them so much and I am happy they have taken part in my life and enriched it like they do on a daily basis..

Agreed. I think one of the fundamental issues is the misunderstanding about what a blog is- and is not.
Seems that many like to use the blogs as a place to flood advertisements and adviser-bashing, while others use it for actually blogging, articles, etc. which is awesome!
I know I put a ton of work into my little articles- and I can tell lots of other people do too..so it's definitely hard to see people write a 3 paragraph, mis-spelled, bad grammar, all-caps (screaming!) ad that they re-post every 4 hours to make sure they get the top spot.

I don't know, maybe a word to Keen about helping set some ground rules for what's appropriate on the blog space is in order?

I LOVE 90% of what gets posted here on the blogs and think it's a HUGE blessing for the clients we serve and one another. I personally re-post old articles on days that I cannot write anew, and will sometimes pull 'oldies but goodies' out of the archives and re-post so they are there to be connected with... but doing that every few hours with information that is, well, NOT information but screaming in the ear is pretty ridiculous and highly unethical.

For the adviser/behavior in question: I'd say the behavior is not only unfair but just plain rude. Spamming the blog board takes other peoples chance of getting their writings (that they put LOVE and work into) noticed. I have written Keen about this and encourage everyone else to do so.

But Joan makes a great point- callers can pick and choose who they want to work with... and my hunch is that most people see the negativity and carelessness in that behavior and just pass it up.

Thank you for this post- it's been an issue that's been pretty frustrating to me as well and I am glad you broke the tension about it for us :)

There are great blogs on here and many are repeated however there is a difference in repeating blogs that have substance and great things to teach us and repeating the same blogs over and over several times a day every day.
