To ME Being a Responsible Reader is more than........
being available to take your calls when you want to call.
It means keeping realistic hours so that when we are available we really are available to give our full time and attention to the reading. Who can be available 24/7 ?
It means striving for accuracy and honesty in your readings.
It means letting the caller know if you do not feel you are connecting.
It means keeping our prices at a fair level so that our loyal callers can afford to call us when they need to ( of course what readers charge is their own business as it is optional and can and is changed anytime a reader wants) I personally keep my price at the same level and have for years.
It means sending out minutes on occasion.
It means not asking your callers for feedback ( it IS optional you know) and many callers do not like to think that the reader is only focused upon their feedback, and not the caller or their questions....
It means cleaning out and using your customer lists responsibly ( as in not emailing people who have not called you ever or have not called you in years) or not emailing people who have not called you at all looking for feedback.
It means following up in an email if the call ends abruptly.
It means not going missing on your loyal callers for weeks, months or years.
But these are just a few of what I think makes for a good reader. And many have their own ideas of what makes a good reader....
With wisdom or ability comes great responsibility....but feeling and acting upon that responsibility is a different thing altogether...
