When your time is up.....it's UP.......even if you dodge it the first time.....

Sometimes......
You read something that stops you in your tracks and you wonder WHY and the PURPOSE of it?
An Italian couple Johanna and Kurt Ganthler who were vacationing in Brazil and arrived late to the airport for Air France Flight 447 and missed it (the one that they think broke up over the Atlantic ocean in a storm). They got a flight to Europe the following day only for the woman to be killed in a car crash in Austria a week later?
I think we can wonder all we want to and no answer or no sense can be made of this....it certainly makes me think that when your time is up, it's UP....
That story really makes ME think....

Hi Joan,

I have often wondered the same. Are we predestined? Is there a way to avoid what is to come in our lives?

It reminds me of when 911 happened with the Towers. So many stories surfaced with respect to this person ran late that day and he never ran late. If he was on time to work, he would have been killed. Another stated the night before her husband took a long walk by himself (which was unusual for him) and when he returned it was as though he was getting "things in order" the wife said. The next day he was killed in the towers. Did he have a feeling, a knowing? One had to make a pit stop at the store because her shoe broke. She was spared. The list is endless...

Makes me wonder as well. Thanks for the blog!

I know of one Irish person who was killed in the towers that had filled in at the last minute for someone else...they were in Boston at an eye appointment for their child, and he was just back from vacation in Ireland, these kinds of things really make us stop and think and that in some ways can be a good thing, as in this frantic world we rarely do that...

The way I look at these types of unexplained fork in the road events is that the presence of the individual during the "departure" time was meant to end at different location for the purposes of affecting different lives in ways that aren't usually readily examined.

I don't is this makes sense to you, but it's been my experience that predistened events (as in this is non-negotiable) are dictated by laws the we mere mortals (i.e. the egos) refuse to acknowledge and comprehend.
