Boundaries

How to keep healthy boundaries in your relationships

what a day................

Having had guests for a while, I was releived to be reclaiming my home today and yet that is not what the universe had in mind for me. I was also in the middle of exchanging a newly bought computer for another because it was not performing to the level it should.

I returned that laptop only to find out that I had left my daughters precious cd in it, a newly found cd that had been missing in the house for years, maybe it will teach my kids to return the cd's to their proper homes? Yes, I could replace it but it was bought on a holiday years ago in Ireland and am not sure it is replaceable.... I have to go to Walmart in the am to get that cd which someone will be re-claiming for me in that early am. I myself confess to be a cd abuser and not able to keep them healthy and thank my lucky stars for the invention of the ipod.

I was driving the guests to the bus station and was going to pick up my computer and my sons fish ( one of whom has already died of shock since we arrived home) only to find my nephews girlfriend had forgotten her handbag (pocket book) which contained her passport etc... at the house, so I return to the home while they were at the pet store picking out the fish and when I get back ( it's 60 mins round trip) we rush to the bus station, and it's apparently the wrong place for their bus and we all have to return home!!!

I returned the computer, and they supposedly refunded my account and when I purchased the new one I thought I was being clever by using the credit option on my card since the other refund would not be available for a few days............only to find out that the first has not been refunded and the second is already gone out of my account........

I really think I need to check my astrology zone monthly horoscope for today.... should I mention my overheating car ?  Or the call not credited by keen nor any record in my tranasctions to speak of ? nah I think I have said enough........

Tommorow is another day.... and I KNOW it will be better, it's already looking better now that I have plugged my new high definition screen computer

LOL, I just read your blog, I bet mine was not the kind of day you were asking about others creating :-) But I do have to say that when my daughter looked for her cheeky girl cd, I just had to laugh, much to her annoyance, it was just the last straw for me and I just laughed, because after all that had occured, it was just funny.....

Joan

I have family in Ireland if you need to replace your daughter's favorite CD.
Sleep well, you've earned it :)

Thank you for the kind offer, but I will be there myself visiting my mother and father either this month or February at the latest. Hopefully I can get it back from the Customer Service desk that I called this evening, and they told me they had the computer still there so hopefully I can get the silly old thing back, it was just so funny when she said where's my cheeky girls cd? I just had to laugh after the day I had !! It was an old cd that we picked up on one of my twice yearly trips to visit my family that was a mix of European popular music that you could not get here and never were released here. It was most kind of you to even think to offer and I appreciate that very much :-)

You are very welcome. My 3 children have special items from Nanny & Auntie back in Ireland, I know how they would feel ;)
Enjoy your trip home....boy I could use a journey home right about now before winter hits :)

Joan,
You are really something (ie something special) after all this to be able to come on here and listen to our woes and read for us and advise us so well as you always, always do. You know I have the utmost admiration -- and gratitude, it goes without saying -- for you.
