Dear Adam,
Voodoo dolls can be used for healing or harm, as a form of sympathetic magic, but until you perform the magic, it is just a doll. You did not tell me anything about your motives or your target. I cannot advise on using the doll for harmful purposes, but if you are creating a poppet for healing purposes though, you can create an injured doll prior to the charging and then charge it before or while fixing it while imagining the patient already healthy again.
