Ask A Witch: Broken Circle in Orange, MA
Dear Alexanra,
I need HELP! I started a circle of my own with two other Wiccans.
I asked the Gods to accept them and allow them to join the circle, but since
then one of them has broken the #1 Wiccan rule which is, "thou shall harm
none!" She has recently been convicted of stabbing two people and I am
in fear of what this may cause to my circle and the harm that could come.
What can I do? Is a binding spell appropriate for this matter, and how
shall I go about it? Please help me!

This is why so many people are selective as to who they accept into their circle. A binding spell would accept even more of her energy and responsibility for her actions upon the shoulders of those of you in the circle. There is a possibility that the negative energy coming back to her from her past may affect the general energy of your circle, so the rest of you must decide as a group if it is possible for you to continue to include her to strengthen positive energy towards a common cause so that you can all work together to overcome your faults, but if anyone disagrees or perceives that she has broken any oaths, the best course of action would be the sad business of energetically excluding her from your circle for harming another and breaking the law of the land.
