Dear Alexandra,
I'm dating this guy for 4 years. At first he used to come around
at least once on the weekends, now he doesn't even come at all. He
always has things to do and is so into his family and kids that he
doesn't seem to have time for me. We have really great phone
conversations though. What do you think about that?

Dear LP,
I think that long-distance relationships are tough, and even if he
lives very close to you, if he doesn't come around very often, that's
exactly the kind of relationship you're having. If you need more to
hold than a telephone, ask him to schedule you in for a regular
meeting. If he is too busy for that, then he may be too busy for
anything other than a long-distance relationship.
