Ask A Witch: Marked in Greene, NY

Dear Alexandra,

    Have you ever completed a ritual and after word ended up with a wierd mark?  I've heard of witch's marks but have never seen one until now!

Dear Marked,

    Not unless I got too close to an open flame! Some believe that the myth of the witches' mark came about during the witch hunts as an excuse to execute people who were disliked and had no further "proof" against them. Witch mark or not, it is important to check with your doctor to make sure that any changing marks on your skin are not cancerous.
