Dear Alexandra,
I am writing to you because I am interested in contacting angels or spirits to gain knowledge and enlightenment about my life. I do not know where to go, how it is done, or anything. I have read my few books on the occult, about spirits and angels, and how people can use them in performing a spell or a ritual. I also read about being able to communicate with spirits and angels for guidance, enlightenment and traveling to the spirit world or the astral plane. A few things that I have not come to understand is what is the spirit world; is it a place where people can go to for communicating with the divine, and is the astral plane the same as the spirit world. Books my be a great way to gain information but it is not always as helpful as having someone guide you.
I would like to know a few things about communication with spirits and angels. I would like to know what exactly happens when you do this? Do you come face to face with them on another plane or in the physical realm? Are there any spoken words or is it kind of like telepathy? I truly
do not know what to do, where to go who it is done. Please could you please tell me where I can go to get help in communicating with spirits and angels? Thank you for your time.

Let me try to explain some about this complicated subject, but I agree that the best way to learn would be from someone near you! There are at least three ways to contact spirits. One is for them to come to the physical realm. A second way is for you to travel to the astral plane. The astral plane is the same as the spirit world if that is where you choose to go in your astral travels. A third way is through ritual, in which you create a microcosm in the physical realm that represents an opening into the spirit world.
The way that you communicate with them depends on what message they have to give you and also depends on the individual person receiving the communications. Sometimes they can speak verbally. Sometimes they communicate through symbols or feelings. Always keep a notebook handy so that you can jot down these feelings so that you can interpret them later.
