Ask A Witch: Wondering in New York, NY

Dear Alexandra,

I've heard something about, in the Wiccan world, a "white lighter" is someone who sees nothing but prettiness (in other words, someone with rose-coloured glasses). Is this true?

Dear Wondering,

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a "white lighter." "White lighter" is a fictional term made up for the television show, "Charmed."

Light!

Merry Meet! I have heard the term 'white light' used for healing purposes with Rieki or used as a source of energy and protection - examples - bath in the white light like an protective force field or envision the white light surrounding you and encompassing you so no harm or negativity can penetrate or perhaps, see the ball of white light above you and picture it opening up and showering you with energy.  Hope this helps.
Brightest blessings!
Luna
