Ask A Witch: Rune Power in Dublin, Ireland
Dear Alexandra,
Could you tell me about rune stones? I have one book about them and I also have a set of runes. They were store bought; I have been thinking about making my own set.I was wondering if you could tell me about the best way to go about it. Would you know about any books that might be
available? I'm really sorry for just asking you all these questions about magik. I just have one small problem. I feel that I have some power, but I don't know what it is and I'm trying to find out what it is. Thank you for reading this letter.
Rune Power in Dublin, Ireland
__________
Dear RP,
Before I can suggest anything, we need to find out which runic alphabet you have been working with. The Elder Futhark, the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, and the Younger (or Scandinavian) Futhark are some common runic alphabets you may have seen. The book that you have should be fine for making your own runes out of painted or carved stones or wood pieces if you are familiar with that alphabet and have been working with those symbols. We all have power. It is just a matter of developing that power that is a gift from the Gods. Work on your connection with deity through divinatory tools such as runes and your own dreams and intuition, and you will discover their power, and in turn, your own.
Light!
Alexandra
