Men and women, both, were pouring their hearts out to a camera on tough issues. One young Latina lady wept as she agonized over how her estranged father blocked her out. A gentleman in his forties admitted to us that he was afraid of repeating his abusive parents’ mistakes when he has children of his own. A frustrated woman shared how she gave up her own life goals to help her sister raise a baby, and now her sister was pregnant again!
We listened empathetically as a panel of relationship experts, a culturally diverse group, devoting our strengths to the shared goal of giving solutions to the problems at hand.
