Conversational Hypnosis Review
Have you ever had a moment where you wished you could disappear? "These aren't the droids you're looking for" Obi-Wan Kenobi said in Star Wars, Episode IV. With a slight wave of his hand, the Imperial stormtroopers troubled him no further, as his suggestion seemed completely plausible and they went elsewhere to look for the very droids they had been staring at previously. To the envious viewer, this science fiction scene may appear to be mind control. However, the power of suggestion is very real, and is used by everyone subconsciously to attempt to manipulate each other. Once you become cognizant of how you are already using this ability, it is possible to use it ethically to gain influence and respect.
Learning conversational hypnosis through a course can be done with ease. All debate is already like a chess game, with each participant trying to anticipate the other's train of thought. Hypnosis allows a person to first assess whether another is suggestible during conversation, facilitate that state when possible, and then plant the seeds for a desired outcome. Usually this is very effective, but of course there are factors which can be barriers to this approach. The down-side of conversational hypnosis is that it is not a magical cure to all of life's problems. Even if you use the techniques properly in ideal conditions, a person cannot be forced to do something that he or she is morally opposed to doing. However, learning conversational hypnosis is still a good investment!
