Cyber Monday
It's time for me to perfunctorily address the concept of Cyber Monday. Mob mentality - It's what caused a grown man to be trampled to death by frenetic shoppers under droning Christmas music in a brightly lit Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Thoughts are things, and just as a small seed of desire can attract abundant fruit to you, so can it cause a dearth of joy if you don't allow it what it needs to grow.
Ironically, Cyber Monday did not begin in one mind as a clever marketing ploy. Instead, the term was coined after market researchers observed an annual surge in on-line shopping the first work day after the Thanksgiving holiday. Sales projectors point out that Cyber Monday has always been an indicator of the holiday spending generosity yet to come.
So I'm ready to use the law of attraction and mob mentality towards a positive goal. I began by making my post promoting my gift certificates on Black Friday, and I've been putting my money where my mouth is with my own shopping this year so far! I know that if we all give more, we'll all get more, so I'm being the change I want to see in the economy. Crowds, follow my lead! This way to a happy New Year!
