Forgiveness Art Meditation - July 3rd at 3pm
Forgiveness is an art. A process that, like a dance, is not a single moment in time. This Saturday, I'll be dancing with the Neighbourhood Temple Priestesses in an experimental art project that is a meditation on the concept of forgiveness. The dance will begin on
July 3rd at
3pm. Ironically, the piece called "Forgive Our City" will take place on
Aurora Avenue (State Route 99) in Seattle on a four-mile route that starts at the Seattle Centre International Fountain, ends at Green Lake, and includes the George Washington Bridge, which is the #2 suicide bridge in the entire country (after Golden Gate). We'll be between Aurora & 41st Street to 4128 Fremont between 3pm and 4pm. Locals are welcome to come contemplate the free art study event. Forgiveness, especially of the self, is always a challenging topic for me. It is not given easily or without reason. If you could use the energy of our dance this Saturday to forgive someone or something, what would you choose?
