Vote For @EarthShod to be on @MTV
MTV News & Documentaries is now casting for a "True Life" episode titled "I Have A Paranormal Ability," and I'm in the running! Voting ends tomorrow, the 19th, but you can vote once today and once again tomorrow, if you're so inclined. The highest voted are on the top of the pile that the casting staff will sort through when deciding who will be on the show. You can see the shows I applied for and show whether you would watch me by clicking "vote for me!"
The Application Criteria If you appear to be between the ages of 18 and 25, please email us
ASAP. You should include your name, location, phone number and a photo
of yourself. Please explain your situation in detail. The more you
share, the more we can start to understand your story. For example:
What’s your ability? Can you communicate with the dead, read auras,
interpret images, predict fates, etc? How did you discover and come to
accept this ability? How do you cope with having this unique ability
and being different from your peers? Can you control it? Do you put
your ability to use, or do you attempt to ignore it? What do your
friends and family think of your ability? What do you say to the
haters and non-believers? Have you ever scared or freaked anyone out
with your ability? Tell us what happened.
My Application My name is Alexandra, and I run my fortune telling business of ten
years out of Renton, WA. I talk to the dead, sometimes having to force
them out of residences after a tragedy. I interpret dreams, assign
meaning to the numbers in peoples' lives, and even read the crystal
ball to tell the past, present and future! I work with tools such as
the pendulum to find lost things, and with the tarot cards for other
clients. My ability is both a blessing and a curse. Though it is my
full-time job and the way I make my money, I cannot turn it off. I was
once diagnosed with schizophrenia due to the visions I see and voices I
hear. As a result, I am disabled for any sort of "normal" job! However,
this work is very fulfilling, and I shock people with revelations of
their marriage dates, descriptions of their lovers, and connections
with their childhood. Though it scares some people, and some people
mock me, I am proud of what I do.
