I think it was brilliantly written and it says it all. A very powerful and moving message. Hurt involving the heart is never easy for anyone, but the message is painstakingly true. It is what needs to be done to move on. Excellent post.

FORGIVENESS is giving up my right to hurt you for hurting me . . .

When I first read this many years ago, I thought it was twisted . . . but as I recently learned . . . it is a way of expanding foregivness.

Cause when someone does something to us, and they know they deserve to be hurt for hurting us . . . . and we tell them the above statement . . . they gain grace, and relief . . . they learn . . . and they also remember to do the same for someone who may and most definitely will hurt them sometime in this life.

We are mortal, we WILL hurt someone . . . if you think about it we enter this world causing hurt . . . just by being born!

Can a woman forgive easier than a man?
