Na Maste Cherished Friends: I can scan your lives and relationships and that of the people around you, but you will notice that if I see it, I will call it, and do it - THE PUSH ...sometimes we need it, sometimes we need to give it. It can be the greatest gift you'll ever give...or receive. Encouragement can come in many forms. It takes courage, honesty and the words of a friend that help us make a course correction away from self-defeating and limiting behavior. ( see my feedback as some people do not want to hear it, but most of you celebrate it!) For some of us our relationship failed or our business failed. Having merged our whole identity with the relationship or the business, when it disintegrated, so did we. Besides having nothing, we felt we were nothing. The downhill slide was slow, steady and painful. Convinced that we had blown the most wonderful opportunity life would ever present, we saw no promise in the future whatsoever. Insight and learning comes only when one is open and ready. Many of us had the reaction to be a victim and to remain a victim. We adapted the behavior of blaming, excuse making and finger pointing which got us nowhere. This makes us Ordinary and makes our relationships predictable and stale. The guidepost to a positive future flashes like a neon sign - personal responsibility. It is a road that we know will not be easy, but we are ready to embark without the slightest hesitation. My life has taught me that mistakes don't matter, failure doesn't matter. What matters is that we continue to move forward and grow from our experiences.
