You’ve met a guy you’re really interested in. What are the things that most irritate guys, so you can avoid turning him off?

 

  1. Standing too close too soon. Everyone hates a space invader. Let him make the moves.
  2. Giggling inanely. Men love it when you laugh at their jokes, but if you laugh all the time he’ll just think you’re a nut case.
  3. Poor personal grooming. If you don’t have time to wash your hair, shave your arm pits and brush your teeth before you go out, best stay home!
  4. Talking about your ex. That just tells him you’re not over him and he’ll head for the door.
  5. Trying to shut his friends out. He went there with them because he likes them. Trying to make yourself the sole focus of his attention will just annoy everyone.
  6. Trying to get his phone number. He’ll simply think you’re a potential stalker. If he wants your number, he’ll ask.
  7. Taking calls on your mobile half the night. That doesn’t give him the message that you’re interested in him, it tells him you’re playing the field.
  8. Talking about your cat. Even if he likes cats, he’ll get this mental picture of a demented cat lover who treats her cat like a child substitute. Let them meet in their own good time!
  9. Getting drunk. Drunken women just aren’t cool. He’s picturing you throwing up in his precious car.
  10. Over doing the perfume – you’re aiming to seduce him, not to induce a coma!

 

And the BIGGEST TURN OFF OF THEM ALL? Showing him pictures of babies! Your cousin’s new baby may just be the cutest thing out, but he’s visualizing being marched down the aisle with a shotgun aimed at his back!

 

Best advice – don’t try too hard. It just projects desperation. Relax. Enjoy. And if it doesn’t go anywhere, keep telling yourself: there’s plenty more fish in the sea.
