A Traditional Talisman to Protect Children
The Chinese have traditionally used jade for protecting children. Greenstone is a variety of jade which is used by the Maori people of New Zealand for a similar purpose. Take a jade pendant, wash it thoroughly in warm soapy water to remove any negative energies that might be attached to it, then leave it on a windowsill to absorb the positive energies of the sunlight. Place the pendant round your child’s neck, or hang it in their room above the bed or cot for protection.
Watch Point: Make sure young children can't entangle themselves in the cord or swallow it.
Suggestion: a jade pendant would make a great gift, as traditionally it works best when given, not bought for oneself.
