People often say to me, “You should write a book!” Well, here are a few of the tales I would put in it if ever I did….

 

Here are some memorable call starters (yes, these really happened! That’s why I haven’t written that book yet – no one would believe I’m not just making it up!)

 

1.      “I just bought an ostrich. Was it a good idea?”

 

oops, maybe you should have called BEFORE you bought the ostrich…

 

 

2.      “I broke the remote for my TV…”

 

and you’re calling me, why? “I broke it throwing it at my husband’s head…”

 

oh my, you REALLY should have called BEFORE you threw it…

 

 

3.      “The little green men have gone…”

 

and this is a problem, why? “I miss them and I’m wondering when they’ll come back?”

 

hmmmm, just keep on taking the tablets, dear.

 

I love my callers, I really do, but sometimes it’s hard to keep a straight face….
