“You have a curse on you – give me $500 and I’ll remove it.” If a stranger came up to you on the street and said that to you, would you believe them, or would you see it as a blatant attempt to extort money? I’m sure you’d treat it as the fraud that it is!

But what if they were a bit more subtle about it? What if they gave you something “free” first (like free minutes on Keen) and gained your trust by telling you that something good was about to happen to you? And THEN they said that you needed to remove the “curse” for it to eventuate – would you believe them then?

What has changed? They are still a stranger. They are still trying to get money from you. It’s still a fraud. If you say NO, what will happen next? They will up the ante. They will try to frighten you by telling you something really bad will happen if you DON’T remove the curse. It’s escalated from being a free gift to a blackmail attempt!

Sadly, many people are still vulnerable to these scams. They talk to lovely psychics and come to believe that everyone in this realm is trustworthy. But there are crooks in every walk of life from politicians to priests.

Don’t be fooled. If you wouldn’t give your money to a total stranger on the street, then don’t give it to someone on the internet who tries to con you with pretend “curses.” If you really believe there’s a curse on you, removing it won’t cost you $500. It’s the same price it always has been – free. Just pray for it to be removed and it’s done! As it says in the Bible, "Ask, and it will be given."
