December Tarot Projection
I have been looking at the Tarot to see what December has in store for us. December 2007 is governed by the Hanging Man card, which is always a somewhat difficult energy to work with, because it signifies delays and holdups, especially from forces outside of our control. This can be very frustrating, with things taking longer than normal to bring to fruition, and decisions deferred that we are waiting on. It also signifies having to make sacrifices in order to achieve our aims – to gain one thing, we may have to let something else go.
There is a shadow influence of the Empress at work, which indicates a need to sit tight and wait for things to come to us. It also means being quietly insistent, and sticking to our goals. On a personal level, it can mean “mother issues” – challenges with females who are mother figures, or with our own children. The Empress also indicates a need for self care in trying times so we continue to function.
The good news is that January will offer new opportunities to bring projects to fruition, so many of those things that get “stuck” in December will come to pass in January.
Watch Points:
- Try to recognize which things are within your control and which are not. There is no point exhausting yourself battling with things you can’t change.
- Prioritize, so you are clear what sacrifices are worth making to get what’s important to you.
- Look after yourself so you are still around to fight another day!
Happy December!
