Money CAN Buy Happiness!
The title of this article caught my eye, because we are always taught that money can’t buy happiness:

But lack of money can surely buy unhappiness! The writer outlines several realistic ways to improve one’s financial position and get ahead financially, starting as ever with getting out of debt, then moves on to small ways you can make extra money. It’s well worth a read.
Someone once said, “Money may not buy happiness, but it’s certainly easier to be unhappy in the back of a Rolls Royce!” For most people, money problems are a combination of bad habits and impatience. Because results start slowly, they give up just when their efforts are on the verge of making a difference, and fall back into those bad habits.
Identify your areas of self sabotage. Do you cut expenses on the big things then lose the plot over the little ones, or vice versa? Is retail therapy your weak point? Do you undermine yourself by telling yourself that you “deserve” certain luxuries? Whatever your financial vice, naming it is the beginning of solving it.
With everyone anxious about the economy, it’s not so embarrassing to be taking a cut lunch to work, drinking water instead of designer coffee, or shopping at discount outlets. Saving money is trendy – there’s never been a better time to take control of your finances!
