Play
It's never too late to have a happy childhood. In his book "Moments of Pleasure" Paul Wilson writes, "Go on , treat yourself to a brand new toy." It doesn't have to be anything expensive. There is a lot of fun to be had from a colouring book and a brand new pack of crayons. What about some Play Doh or perhaps some fingerpaints? The more creative the toy, the more fun you are likely to get from it, without any pressure to be "artistic" - after all, you're just playing, aren't you?
Beat the blues! Skip down the side walk, splash in a few puddles and swing on the swings at the park. Make a mud pie or a sand castle. Blow some bubbles. Lie on your back and watch the clouds without a thought to bills or chores or housework. Childhood is a state of mind not a state of body. Enjoy!
