If you are like me, you regularly receive emails that exhort you to “send this to all your friends.” The email then goes on to inform you that Bill Gates is giving away all his money, or that a curse will fall on you if you don’t immediately forward it to at least 10 people, or that if you delete a certain file on your computer it will eliminate a virus.

 

Personally, I don’t have time to look up the scams websites to determine which emails are fact and which are hoaxes. After being caught a few times by these annoying emails, I have come to one conclusion – if the email instructs me to “forward this to all your friends” then it’s a sure sign that I should hit the Delete key! So please DON’T forward this to all your friends!

 

PS: Guess what? I have yet to be cursed with ANY of the bad luck those emails threaten!
