The court cards are first and foremost aspects of ourselves, and secondarily about other people who are affecting us in some way. Traditionally, the pages are also viewed as messengers, so they can represent news and communications.

The Pages are Inner Child cards. The Page of Wands is the creative child, the imaginative child, the fiery child who dwells within. He often pops up when creativity is thwarted in some way, and is needing an outlet. Many people are uncomfortable with the word creativity. They equate it with being artisitic. But creativity can be expressed in the way we dress, in cooking a great meal or in the way we decorate our homes.

The Page of Wands can also represent an actual child, or a person who is behaving childishly. The fiery aspect can point to someone who struggles to control their temper, or who tends to be all ideas but without the follow through. If you pull the Page of Wands, you may need to face both aspects of the card - both the good and the bad!
