There are many issues regarding giving readings. The jaded client ( the one who calls many readers, many times a day, and many days a week) (which in my humble opinion MAY effect the quality of the reading) may not believe what comes up as they get to be like the little old lady in the back of the car in the old Wendy's commercial *WHERE'S THE BEEF???*
They are in the situation and so may not see HOW something COULD happen, however many times that IS what DOES happen...
And many a caller has said....* I ALREADY KNOW THAT!!* in a tone that says... tell me something NEW......and as we all know a connection to past of the caller may not mean the reader has a connection to the future of the caller....it's a fine line and quite frankly I believe that in order to get a good reading we have to be open to what comes up, open to hearing what we may not want to hear, and know that everything we DO hear is not set in stone...WE have the power to change things that we may not care to have heard in our reading....it is after all an exchange of energy :-)

Sometimes we call often ,just because we are so unhappy we need onfirmatiom and someone to talk about  our concern with;so being judged by a reader  is not so cool......

Sharon, I am concerned that you think I was being judgmental. What was it about my Blog that made you think that? It was written to discuss a genuine issue that arises with readings, not with the intention of criticising callers.

If your response was to me, I was not judging, that is not my place, what I was saying what that callers generally do not want to hear what they think they know already. But I always have to tell them what DOES come up, and I know that calling too often can affect the quality of the reading and bring more un-necessary negative attention on to the situation which is like waiting for that kettle to boil which in turn can whip up hysterical energy which can prevent a timing prediction and or delay things... Calling many readers can be confusing and annoying for the caller as they frequently say *that is NOT what reader a,b or c said* and I always respond with, that is what I got, it may not be what  they got. While calling can be re-assuring, it can and does affect the manifestation of the prediction...
I am sorry if it was my response that made you feel judged, that was not my intention...

This blog is right on time.  I just had a recent experience with someone asking me about the FUTURE POTENTIAL of a relationship.  I say what I see...and click...2 minute call.  I wonder at times if we want to hear certain things and when we don't it makes us emotional.  I get these ratings once every 6 months or so and find it interesting how someone can rate based on a future prediction related question.  How do you know if it's accurate if it's a prediction yet to happen?  I always tell people to WAIT to leave feedback until predictions happen or don't happen.  That way feedback is more FACT based rather than emotional based.  Some either leave feedback on the "feel good" notion or they leave poor feedback on the "I didn't like that answer" notion.

A lot of times bad feedback is due to not hearing what they want to hear. Lately, I have given more bad news than good. So far none of them have left any feedback. What has happened is that us psychics have become responsible for making people happy. It is part our fault because we want people to post that great feedback that their prediction happened. It is also the callers fault because they see the positive feedback and instead of interpreting it as accuracy, the caller sees it as the psychic gives the caller what they want. Some callers think that we make things happen for them. Some callers think that they do not have to participate in their life. They feel like if " he is going to come back" than it means that they just sit and wait till the time frame comes and yippee, he is suppose to propose to them. The caller focuses on the prediction and not the possibility of a bumpy road before the prediction happens.

I piss off  some of the callers that I tell them that they must do an action to make the prediction happen. They are shocked. I tell them my magic wand is broke. The callers I have know that they are in charge of their life. My callers that are regulars welcome that approach that they run their life.

I actually agree with your post Donna.  Sometimes I do think people can view readings as something that they are supposed to always walk away feeling "great" from.  I'm not saying I'm 100% accurate...but I try to give the 100% truth in what I'm seeing.  That doesn't always mean it's great news.  I wonder how many truly understand that.  Alas, I was and still am a caller now.  My perspective is one of "just spill it so I know what I can expect."  That lala land stuff just isn't appealing once we accept that readings reflect life...the good the bad and the ugly.

I receive readings because I am smart enough to know that I can not read for myself due tp being emotionally involved. I have no problem with bad news because the reader did not create the bad news. It just is. I wish that all callers understood that we do not change their lives. That we do not have magical powers. We just report the news good or bad.
