WTF.....?
People are often baffled when they ask a practical question and get an answer that doesn't seem to relate to the question they asked. This can happen because the Tarot addresses underlying causes of problems rather than giving a superficial "quick fix." An example would be if you asked a question about your financial outlook for the next few months, and drew the Two of Cups.

The Two of Cups represents partnerships. It suggests looking at how partnerships can affect finances, either positively or negatively. For example, the cooperation of another person could help someone stay on track with money. Or there could be a partner who was undermining financial stability.
The suit of cups reflects the emotions. You would need to look at how the emotions were affecting financial decision making. Is there a tendency for "retail therapy"? Is there a "romantic" view of money that is not in line with financial reality?
When we get a card that does not appear to answer the question posed it is a good time to dig deeper, to look harder. The cards are never wrong, it's just that sometimes we need to look further than the obvious.
