I hope I don't come across as being mean. This is for debating. If this man ex, had already stated he doesn't want to get back with you, why expend your energy there? The more you try to force yourself in his life, the more he will push away. Put some of that energy into yourself. Right now it could be perceived that you are begging him to take you back. Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't want you? There are plenty of other good men out there for you and you should know that you deserve the whole relationship, not just when he feels like he wants one. If it is temporary as GS states, my comments still apply here. Like GS stated already, give him room if he wanted a break to figure out what he wants. Just remember, the more you press him, the more he will instinctively pull away. Good luck.

I don't think you are being mean at all. The whole idea of this is for discussion. Your comments are very much appreciated. I agree with you he has to have space.
I also agree about her working on her self and doing things she enjoys doing and growing as a person instead of dwelling on what was. She will be far more attractive and interesting to him when he does come back.
