Cool book about divine messages, guidance from personal symbols

Are you tuned into your personal "sacred signs"? I've just read a wonderful book giving guidance on how to uncover and notice the real-world incidents, coincidences, and physical objects that are actually put in your path to give you guidance.

The book is "Sacred Signs" by Adrian Calabrese, ph.d.

Call it Spirit, the Universe, God, your angels, Jung's principle of synchronicity, or the intelligent unified field in which all things and beings are connected, or all of these, when we get more closely attuned to our belongingness in this, and ask with an open heart for guidance and signs to be brought our way, in a very real way, we start to receive exactly that.

I have found that one of my personal 'messages' of reassurance comes in the form of birds flying very close to my person, or my car when I'm driving. I know that they are sometimes sent by my departed loved ones, and sometimes sent generally just to let me know I'm being watched over. The appearance of my birds always reassures me that I'm not alone in something that I may feel anxious about.

Others may find they are "sent" coins, or that they hear a certain song on the radio at a certain pivotal moment (this too is a big one of mine).

The basic principle outlined in the book, is that you focus your intention upon asking for guidance in a specific question or issue in your life, small or large, and ask for the appearance of your chosen sign in one form or another. You may know already what your personal meaningful signs and symbols are, or you can discover them through the exercises and inner work outlined in this book.

For example, it is described how one person decided that a rose or roses seemed to be a big theme around her life, and when she began to focus on "sign work," she would find that roses would show up in confirmation and guidance, not just in the form of someone handing her a real rose, but perhaps even a card arriving with a rose illustration, or a billboard suddenly having a new ad go up containing a picture of a rose, and other symbolically-themed occurances, very much in alignment with the principles of Synchronicity.

Our lives are full of intriguing prompts and "coincidences" that may not be such a coincidence after all, when you are reading the signs...
