Hi, Welcome, and some bio background
Welcome, and thanks for dropping by.
I won't be "blogging" much, because I prefer to devote my focus, my time and my energies to my work in helping people with my readings, pure and simple. I am too busy with not just that but another creative outlet which takes up my juices. I came to Keen to give good readings, not to give good blog, lol. But here is a little background history I will keep here so that we can get to know each other better, and so that if you are thinking of consulting me for a Tarot reading, you will know more about what I do and what I'm bringing to the reading and how.
Background:
I'm in my forties, have much life-experience to draw on in my understanding of a caller's situation, and I'm a London-bred Brit making my home in the USA. I feel blessed to have both these distinct cultures and sociological histories influencing my world view. My mother and grandmother had natural-born abilities in mediumship, tea leaf divination, precognition, clairvoyance, and my mother used telepathic gifts which were utilized most deeply during the ongoing Blitz era of the United Kingdom during WWII.
I inherited varying degrees of most of these abilities plus sensitivity to energies and atmospheres, and although my antecedents took them in stride, my own were somewhat more disturbing to me for a long time; nonetheless, I was a believer and studied all I could. I have had a lifelong history of spontaneous precognitive dreaming, sensitivity to the moods and true feelings of others (some call this having empath abilities, I just think of it as knowing what someone's really thinking, lol) and sensitivity to hauntings and other place-or-person centered information not accesible to the five ordinary senses. Some of these abilities have been hard to handle particularly when I was younger, but mercifully I had a family to whom it was all no strange thing.
It wasn't long before I used my pocket money allowance to buy myself a Rider Waite pack of Tarot cards, as a very young girl. I still use the same pack today. I took to the cards immediately, loving the beautiful, mysterious illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith, intrigued by the labyrinthine possibilities in the traditional meanings of each of the cards, and encouraged by how my first readings seemed to turn up the "right" cards for the individual Querent's particular situation - even though my querents at first were my equally young cousin and any other family member I could hoodwink into letting me "practice" on! Over the years I have done readings for an ever widening circle including friends, friends' friends, and party settings.
Method:
Although I have studied, learned and utilize the traditional meanings, in tandem with some interpretations of my own that I have noticed have repeatedly become "my" messages about certain things I'm reading, I use the cards and these meanings as a "gateway" to my further intuition, in which optimally I pick up the energy or "vibe" of a person or situation. While reading, I am not only choosing face-down cards for you and analysing the "story" they are giving me, but I'm also getting mental impressions, ideally visual flashes in my mind's eye, emotional impressions, or symbolic ideas which prompt me in the information I need to relay to you the client. My use of the cards is in tandem with these psychic impressions when my connection to the client is optimal and no blocks are being presented to me.
The kind of reader I am:
My style when reading is friendly, understanding, and compassionate, though this by no means excludes honesty -- please note that I do tell the not-so-good news I may see in a reading; I consider it as being owed to my clients to be gentle yet not candycoat.
To tell you truth in both good and bad is kinder in the long run, as it does not serve your best interests for a reader to mislead you.
I give honest, down-to-earth information and guidance, with the kindness and compassion that comes from having been through a lot in life myself.
The kind of help I prefer to give:
I seek to assist clients with issues for which they would like not just insight and answers, but also guidance in how best to deal with a situation or person, overcoming, learning from an experience, reaching solutions/resolutions, and growing toward new chapters in their lives if necessary, in the best way for all concerned.
My availability on Keen:
I work a day job which is my own business that I run and which leaves my energy low; for this reason I am most likely to be able to take your calls at the weekends, very often:
Friday evenings
Saturday day and evening
Sunday day and evening
I try also to take calls on Mondays, morning to mid-evening. All days noted may include some break times or time-out for errands (my Sunday paper is not delivered!)
The rest of the working week there may be some evening-time, but due to the fact that I work at my day-job Tuesday to Friday, I am often too tired to conduct readings on those evenings.
I cannot read when tired, and this is why I do not do Keen readings seven days a week, the way other advisors are at liberty to do. Unfortunately I am not at liberty to do so. I want to give you my best, and that is why my Keen availablity is hand-picked by me, when I know that I will be on-the-ball for you.
E-mail readings are usually completed within 48 hours of receiving your paid request and information, unless there is an extra busy demand setting it back to three days.
Thanks for stopping by; I would be honored to hear from you for a reading.
In the immortal words of the great Elvis Costello --
("What's so funny 'bout -") ....Peace, love and understanding.
