Ahhhm yes, I do this and it does make life so much more pleasant: whenever I leave the house I bless things, everywhere. I bless the road which is now paved, the squirrels I see, the stores... then on to strangers on the street and in the store I shop at. I get so many smiles, and I know it is because I am smiling at the world!
