EEEK! It’s gonna happen WHEN!?
If a prediction is simply “time based,” a reader should most likely be able to say “This is when it’s gonna happen.” It requires nothing of note on the client’s part, except to sit back and wait. It is a moment already established in the higher planes - in time it trickles down ultimately into physical manifestation and VIOLA! The prediction happens! Of course, most clients like these predictions. They are cut and dry, no muss, no fuss, and require no adjustment or growth on the client’s part.
The more complex part of “when is it going to happen?” is when a prediction is “lesson driven.” By lesson driven, it means that growth and adjustment must occur for the client to receive the manifestation of what they’re looking for. A good sign of something indeed being “lesson driven” versus being “time based,” is when something desired has seemed to be on hold or out of reach for an extended amount of time. I many times hear clients state in frustration, “Jim, I’ve been hearing for YEARS that I’m going to meet my soul mate from several readers, and it never happens. When is it finally going to happen?”
A simple metaphor goes something like this – imagine someone saying, “I want a PHD. When is it going to happen?” Obviously, they have to go to school and pass the required courses to get their respective diploma. Everyone knows that - but just imagine for a minute if someone just wanted their PHD and was unwilling to work or do anything to get that PHD?
For example: Some are closed and not open to relationships on a real level. This could be based on shutting down from past hurt that is yet to be healed – often when feeling trapped during marriage, in the post divorce era, the client is closed or closed enough to not attract someone who is truly open to them. Insights are needed to help the client heal, not just on the surface, but on a deep level, all the way down to the subconscious mind. This can involve initial acknowledgment of the issues at hand, feeling the emotional pain to dissipate those energies along with the right attitude to navigate forward.
Another example would be someone who does not feel worthy of being loved. This painful self image, often disguised by “Oh, I already know that,” could be based on childhood upbringing, reinforced by “bad” relationships from the past, and he / she would need to truly learn self worth to manifest their hearts desire. Often the client knows the problem intellectually, but knowing intellectually does little to heal the situation. One must know it emotionally, and when it is known emotionally, healing can then occur. This is often achieved by choosing one’s spoken words carefully, as the great metaphysical master Florence Shinn said, “To heal, bless and prosper.” Verbal affirmations, which reinforce through direct commands the reality desired, help to carve out the reality desired.
A general feeling of unworthiness often brings or perpetuates poverty. Money is frequently based on self image and self worth. In short, great self worth translates into cash. Forgiving those in the past can be utilized here, along with the above mentioned techniques. With forgiveness come endless blessings as one heart opens to receive! Also, as most of us are conditioned to poverty (just listen to the people round you talk about bills, being broke, lack and limitation), understanding that there is an endless supply of money for everyone to tap into can be liberating! With the countless tools of guidance that come through in a reading, a reading can teach one to fish, which can be more valuable than merely offering someone a sandwich, so to speak.
I sometimes caution people by letting them know that not all questions can be answered by “this is when it’s going to happen.” Sometimes clients will work with this process, which always takes time, and in over thirty years of reading, I have seen remarkable results. In these instances, there are no quick fixes, but results through time & effort. Other times, a seeker may feel that I don’t “get it,” that I just can’t “see it,” and accuse of me of being wrong or inadequate as a reader. I try to explain that the cosmic lessons of the soul are not always able to be answered by “Friday at 3:00 PM.”(LOL)
For most of those who seek readings, there is a balance of “time based” predictions, and lessons of the soul that must be learned to get the reward or victory we yearn for and seek. Always remember, that in any consultation, both elements probably apply. Try to understand how both of these “opposite ends of the spectrum” dynamics play out in your reading and your individual experiences, so that you can truly take control of your destiny and win!
