So often I am asked, 'WHY is this happening to me?" Many times my response is "It's a lesson you need to learn". The response I get is "Well, I don't WANT any more lessons".
Too bad, folks. As Emerson quotes above: Life IS a succession of lessons that MUST be LIVED. Then, and only then, will you gain the wisdom, understanding and true meaning of what you've gone through.
Some of our lessons are more difficult than others, never-the-less, when you stop learning and gaining insights - you may as well be a Life School Drop-out. You were put here to LIVE, ENJOY, and FULFILL your souls with ALL kinds of emotions, lessons and learning. If you are in pain, know that at least you are FEELING. It beats being numb. Well, at least in my book it is better.
What all need is a reminder to ourselves to be GRATEFUL for what we're going through. The benefits of the experience compose a BETTER YOU!
Hang in there! Anything that you're experiencing now that is on a rocky road is temporary. Focus on the velvet path that will put you back on track no time. Do not be a life-school drop-out.
